Infrastructure Works: Berths 55/62 Tahya Masr multi-purpose Terminal Alexandria

The project Berths 55/62 Tahya Masr multi-purpose Terminal Alexandria in Egypt, led by EDECS, entails the construction of the infrastructure for marine terminals covering a vast storage area of 550,000m2, includes the installation of critical utility networks such as water, sewage, electrical, and firefighting systems. This involves a robust MV power network spanning 120Km of cables, 3 switchgear, and 16 substations, along with an LV power network covering 200Km and a SCADA system with over 9,000 points with 80 Km of Fiberoptics cables, a fire pump station, oil separators, a lifting station, and a water treatment plant. The berth infrastructure comprises 500,000m2 of space, capable of handling 41,000 TEUs and includes 75000 RORO area, 36 reefer structures, and 120 plugs to facilitate operations to ensure the terminal's operational efficiency and longevity.
